    In January of 2024 the Team headed to the Australian Toy Association Toy Fair in Melbourne! This was our first appearance at a Toy Fair and we had an absolute blast. We were able to showcase our latest and greatest ranges across Kids by Splosh, Out & About, SnuggUps®️, Toasty Hugs®️ plus more to a brand new audience!

    In October 2023, we launched our new brand Toasty Hugs®️ to our loyal stockists across Australia and New Zealand! Designed in-house and available in 12 unique characters, these cosy companions are filled with calming tourmaline crystals and contain a removable pouch to warm in the microwave or cool in the freezer. Dispatching from February 2024, Toasty Hugs®️ is expected to take the market by storm alongside SnuggUps®️ and Frank Barker.

    We successfully upgraded our freight operation system, partnering with efm Logistics. As well as improving the overall efficiency of day-to-day operations, our amazing Splosh stockists now receive better rates, more carrier options, real-time order tracking emails, and the ability to request personalised quotes!

    In August, Splosh won Best Large Stand at the Australian Gift & Homewares Association (AGHA) Melbourne Gift Fair Awards! After several months of preparation and teamwork in the lead-up to the Melbourne Gift Fair, we could not be more excited to take home the win. Judged by an independent panel of industry experts, the title is awarded to the stand with the best overall brand and customer experience.

    Splosh partnered with AGHA and showcased our ranges at the Melbourne Gift Fair, with our entire sales team in attendance! It was our first industry event in over 2 years due to COVID-19 and it was an incredible moment in time for the retail industry.

    We launched our first ever pre-sell Easter range including an array of keepsakes, mugs and ceramic ornaments, with the range selling out in record time!

    After recognising a growing demand in-market for Pet products from our customers, Splosh launched our hit brand (both with customers and pets!), Frank Barker - providing stylish and statement accessories for furry friends in a variety of sizes across leads, collars, harnesses and poop bags made from sturdy, high-quality materials designed to withstand the wear-and-tear of daily dog activities.

    2021 saw the launch of Splosh's exciting new (and snuggly) brand, SnuggUps®️! Available in an array of designs for the whole family, our team designed each pair of SnuggUps®️ with comfort in mind, featuring soft sherpa-fleece lining, non-skid soles in durable-yet-lightweight machine washable textiles across all sizes for baby, toddler, kids, women and men.

    A must-have for Summer, Sip by Splosh was our beverage range that took the season by storm! Featuring a selection of Balloon Glasses, specifically designed to trap beverage aromas, alongside insulated, double-walled Tumbler Cups that double as the ultimate picnic or BBQ accessory to keep your drink cool for hours, you loved this range so much that we have since relaunched new-and-improved designs for 2022.     An exciting find for our team, 2020 saw Warmies®️ join the ranks of Splosh's esteemed distribution brands. The verdict? Everyone loved them! Providing stress and anxiety relief, as well as promoting comfort and restful sleep, Warmies®️ are perfectly weighted plush toys that can be heated and cooled time-and-time again.

    As the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Splosh worked harder than ever to service our retail and wholesale customers, coming up with dynamic and innovative ways to pivot our business in order to help drive sales for our stockists both in-store and online and provide a constant stream of fresh, new products.

    The year began with a brand new trade fair stand at the Reed Sydney Gift Fair in February.

    We launched our hottest product for the year... Travel Boards! Since becoming a cult-favourite Splosh seller, our Travel Boards are now available in multiple sizes and encourage customers to pin past and future destinations.

    Our in-house designers created the revolutionary Fairy House Lanterns. Each LED lantern comes with a tailored fairy story.

    We brought to market the Adopt A Doorstop range with 50 cents of every doorstop sold donated to animal welfare.

    The year commenced with a new trade fair stand at the Reed Sydney Gift Fair in February.

    We created and brought to market the Change Box range, featuring innovative designs and packaging.

    We relocated to a new Head Office and Distribution Centre in Brisbane with double the space to accommodate our expanding team and product range.

    An innovative occasion product was developed and brought to market; “The Wish Jar”.

    International distribution continued to grow with Splosh products available in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada and South Africa.

    As we continued to grow, so did our team and we relocated to a larger warehouse in Brisbane’s Southeast.

    We developed and brought to market the “Block Word”, which then trended in the market for the coming years.

  • 2009

    We were granted the exclusive distribution rights to WoodWick®, the world’s number one premium wooden wick candle brand, for Australian and New Zealand markets.

    Our product range and designs continued to expand. We were releasing new ranges annually and our trade fair stands continued to grow to accommodate this.

    We created the “Signature Frame” range and launched it to market. Bright and fun colour continued to be our top selling product.

    We took our first step into wholesale distribution at the Reed Gift Fair in Sydney. A successful trade fair meant later that year, Kim and Michael moved the business from their home garage to a warehouse on Brisbane’s Southside.

    Founders, Kim and Michael, started making timber products in the garage of their Brisbane home and selling them at the local Sunday markets.
